ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The Lawrence University baseball team gave up 12 runs in the fifth inning Tuesday in a 12-1 nonconference loss to Augustana College at Swanson Stadium.
   The game was scoreless going to the bottom of the fifth when Augustana scored all of its runs on just two hits. Lawrence committed three errors in the inning, walked five batters in the frame, hit two more and gave up a three-run homer.
   Lawrence (11-13) scored its only run in the sixth on two walks, a hit batter and
CJ Filipek's sacrifice fly. Lawrence was limited to two hits in the seven-inning contest.

David Jachimiak gave up four runs in his two innings of work and took the loss for Lawrence.
   Lawrence returns to action on Friday when its hosts Knox College for a three-game series at Whiting Field.
