FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's lacrosse team ended its inaugural season with an 18-4 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference loss to Marian University on Wednesday at Smith Field.
  The Sabres (5-12, 2-7 NACC) pulled out to a 5-0 lead after the opening quarter and increased that advantage to 12-2 at the half.Â
  Lawrence (1-12, 0-9) got three goals from top scorer
Lydia Lueck, who finished the season with 32 goals.
Savannah Larsen picked up the other goal for the Vikings, and
Josie Daly added an assist.
