BELOIT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University baseball team couldn't complete the series sweep of Beloit College on Sunday as the Bucs won the Midwest Conference game 6-2 at The Ballpark at Strong Stadium.
  Beloit scored three times in the seventh inning to pull away for the victory to salvage one game in the series. Lawrence swept a doubleheader at Beloit on Saturday.
  Lawrence (9-11, 3-3 MWC) was limited to five hits, including doubles by
Tate Hartlaub and
Sage Beebe-Jenny.
  The Vikings scored two runs in the sixth to tie the game.
Edan Perez reached on an error to start the rally, and
Taylor Freeman followed with a single.
Zach Leslie singled to score Perez, and the Vikings then executed a double steal to put runners at second and third.
Shane Santaga's groundout scored Freeman and tied the game at 2-2.
  The Bucs (13-8, 3-3) took the lead with a run in the bottom of the sixth, and Seth Brankey homered to highlight a three-run seventh for Beloit.

Conner Robertson put together a solid start for the Vikings as he allowed three runs on five hits over six innings. He struck out two and walked two.Â
