APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's lacrosse team battled back early Wednesday, but Concordia University Wisconsin went on to a 20-8 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference win over the Vikings on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
  Concordia (6-7, 4-3 NACC) jumped out to a 5-0 lead and pulled away in the second and third quarters.
  Lawrence (3-9, 1-6) got two goals apiece from
Brody Herr and
Robbie Spielmann, and Herr added a pair of assists.
Iori Yamada,
Emmett Eischens,
Luke Robertson and
Judah Goehring added one goal apiece for the Vikings.
  After the Falcons went up 5-0, the Vikings struck back with consecutive goals from Herr and Yamada. After a Concordia tally, Eischens scored for the Vikings to cut the lead to 6-3 late in the first quarter. Concordia then scored five straight to retake control.Â

Tyler Graham made the start in goal for the Vikings and stopped 20 shots. Travis Marquardt played the opening 40 minutes for the Falcons and made two saves.
  Concordia had a 61-21 edge in shots, and the Falcons had a 46-22 advantage in ground balls.
