APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's fencing team has been honored for academic achievement by the United States Fencing Coaches Association.
  The women's team has been named an All-Academic Team by the coaches association after posting a 3.38 grade point average during the 2024-25 season.Â
  To be eligible for the team award, a team must compile a minimum 3.3 grade point average during the season.
  The Lawrence women finished fourth at the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championships in 2025, and the Vikings had four fencers earn All-CCFC honors.
Jayna Davis and
Miami Kirkwood were chosen in saber,
Nora Anderson was picked in epee and
Iris Pierce was selected in foil. Davis, who led the Vikings with a sixth-place finish at the CCFC Championships, and Anderson also received All-Midwest Region honors.
