ELMHURST, Ill. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 nonconference victory over the University of Olivet on Friday at the Elmhurst Invitational.
  Lawrence defeated the Comets 25-14, 25-23, 25-17 at R.A. Faganel Hall.
  The Vikings used a balanced attack and hit a robust .325 as a team.
Margaret Hahnke led the way as she piled up a match-high 12 kills for the Vikings.
Hazel Cook,
Alayna Geiser and
Chania Tinch had five kills apiece for Lawrence (12-4), which has already surpassed last season's victory total.
  Lawrence also piled up 12 aces with Geiser picking up a match-high four aces.
Britta Josephson and
Aria Wessel had three aces apiece, and Hahnke added two more.
  Setter
Ally Corrente picked up 24 assists, four digs and three kills for the Vikings. Geiser had a match-high nine digs,
Amanda Vlkovic added seven and Hahnke and Wessel had six apiece.
  The Vikings are back in action on Saturday when they face Elmhurst and Manchester University.
