CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team ran its win streak to six on Friday with a 3-2 nonconference victory over Illinois Tech at the Rosalie Resch Invitational.
  Lawrence won 24-26, 29-27, 25-18, 25-27, 16-14 at the Ratner Center at the University of Chicago.

Margaret Hahnke pounded out a match-high 24 kills for the Vikings (6-1), and she added 15 digs and four service aces. Rookie
Audrey Weier added 13 kills, three blocks and three digs for Lawrence.
Hazel Cook picked up nine kills and
Chania Tinch had eight for the Vikings.Â

Ally Corrente had a match-high 50 assists for Lawrence, and she tacked on a match-high five aces to go along with eight digs. LiberoÂ
Aria Wessel led the Vikings with 24 digs,Â
Alayna Geiser added 16 and
Amanda Vlkovic had 13.
  Lawrence evened the match at 1-1 when a service error gave the Vikings a 28-27 lead before Tinch's kill closed out the set. Lawrence scored nine consecutive points in the third set to grab a 13-5 edge and cruised to the win for a 2-1 advantage.Â
  Illinois Tech won a tight fourth set to force a decisive fifth set. In a see-saw fifth set, Lawrence led 12-11 before the Scarlet Hawks went up 14-13. After a
Britta Josephson kill tied the set at 14-14, an Illinois Tech setting error put the Vikings up by one. Corrente then closed out the match with an ace to give the Vikings the win.
  This is the first time Lawrence has won six matches in a row since the 2015 season. The school record is seven wins, which was done in 2001 and 2009.
  Lawrence faces two ranked opponents on Saturday when the Vikings face UW-Eau Claire and the University of Chicago.
