Sagar promoted to Director of Soccer Operations

APPLETON, Wis. — Lawrence University Athletics has announced the promotion of Joe Sagar to Director of Soccer Operations, a new role created to strengthen alignment, recruiting, and long-term planning across the University's men's and women's soccer programs.

In this expanded position, Sagar will focus on coordinating recruiting efforts for both programs, with an emphasis on sustainable roster growth and identifying student-athletes who are strong academic and cultural fits for Lawrence. The role is designed to provide greater consistency and shared direction across the soccer programs while supporting their continued growth. Sagar will continue as head coach of the Lawrence women's soccer program and will also support the men's soccer program through recruiting coordination, scheduling support, and operational planning. This structure allows for continuity at the coaching level while strengthening the overall foundation of Lawrence soccer.

The role will take effect immediately and will support planning and preparation for upcoming recruiting and competition cycles.
