APPLETON, Wis. — Lawrence University (2-22-0, 2-15-0) was defeated by St. Norbert College (14-8-2, 11-4-2), 5-0, at home. Despite making 58 saves, the Vikings' defense could not contain the offensive pressure, allowing 63 shots on goal.
Lawrence began the first period with a strong defensive effort, highlighted by
Sarah Dobrzynski's multiple saves, including a sequence of shots turned aside early in the period. The team capitalized on an early power play opportunity when Ava Anick of St. Norbert was penalized for roughing, but failed to convert the advantage into a score despite attempts from
