RIPON, Wis. — Lawrence (21-6, 13-3 Midwest Conference) fell to Ripon (25-2, 16-0 Midwest Conference) on Saturday, 65-29, at Weiske Gymnasium. The Vikings recorded seven blocks but were unable to overcome Ripon's 28 points in the paint and a 44-19 advantage in total rebounds.

The game commenced with Lawrence establishing its presence through the interior, as Olivia Kesti and Charlotte Brennan each executed successful layups in the paint. Despite these efforts, Ripon answered back with outside shooting, including a pair of 3-pointers from Laney Havlovitz and Natalie Rauwolf, maintaining a narrow edge throughout the quarter. The first quarter concluded with Lawrence trailing by a score of 9–6.

Lawrence closed the second quarter with a layup by Molly Deering at 00:04, cutting into Ripon's lead. Earlier in the quarter, Kate Adams contributed a 3-pointer at 05:55, helping the Vikings stay competitive. Despite these efforts, Ripon maintained its lead, and the quarter ended with Lawrence trailing 26–17.

Lawrence struggled to find momentum in the third quarter, managing only two baskets and converting three of eight free throws. Sophie Morey contributed with a layup at 7:19, but the Vikings faced challenges in maintaining possession, resulting in three turnovers. Meanwhile, Ripon capitalized on Lawrence's difficulties, scoring 12 points in the paint and extending its lead through efficient shooting. The quarter concluded with Ripon leading 43–24.

In the fourth quarter, Lawrence struggled offensively, converting none of its nine field goal attempts. Despite a strong defensive showing with three blocks from Adams and Kesti, the Vikings' offense was unable to capitalize. Ripon took advantage of Lawrence's scoring drought, extending its lead with an 8-for-17 shooting performance, including three 3-pointers. Lawrence managed to score only from the free-throw line, with Brennan contributing four points. The game ended with Ripon securing a victory, 65-29.
