RIPON, Wis. — Lawrence (21-6, 13-3 Midwest Conference) fell to Ripon (25-2, 16-0 Midwest Conference) on Saturday, 65-29, at Weiske Gymnasium. The Vikings recorded seven blocks but were unable to overcome Ripon's 28 points in the paint and a 44-19 advantage in total rebounds.
The game commenced with Lawrence establishing its presence through the interior, as
Olivia Kesti and
Charlotte Brennan each executed successful layups in the paint. Despite these efforts, Ripon answered back with outside shooting, including a pair of 3-pointers from Laney Havlovitz and Natalie Rauwolf, maintaining a narrow edge throughout the quarter.
