OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Lawrence University men's cross country team used a tightly packed scoring group to take third place Friday at the UWO Titan Fall Classic at the XC Ranch.

Lawrence finished with 79 points, trailing only Michigan Tech and UW-Stout in the five-team field. The Vikings' five scoring runners were separated by just 25.9 seconds and posted an average time of 26:24.5.

Nick Hansen led the way for Lawrence, crossing the line 11th overall in 26:14.2. Zach Meyer was just behind in 13th place with a time of 26:19.5, while Finn Lee gave the Vikings a third runner inside the top 20 by finishing 17th in 26:23.0.

Ryan Cassiday followed in 19th place at 26:26.0, and Noah Zhang completed Lawrence's scoring group with a 25th-place finish in 26:40.0.

The Vikings continued to show their depth further down the results, with Finn Walston and Gabe Gross finishing back-to-back in 38th and 39th place, respectively, both recording times of 27:08.2.
