Academic All-Midwest Conference. High School: Competed in soccer, cross country and track and field. 2018 all-state selection in soccer. 2018 all-district selection in soccer. 2018 first-team all-conference soccer selection. 2016 second-team all-conference soccer selection. 2018 academic all-state selection. Played soccer for his father, Steven McLaughlin. Ran cross country and track for Chris Depierre and Matt Kovach. Class valedictorian. National Honor Society executive treasurer. Student Council executive secretary. Debate Club president. Five-time Science Olympiad Regional event winner. Personal: Parents are Steven and Annemarie McLaughlin. Double major in chemistry and philosophy.
