College: Member of Academic All-Midwest Conference Team. High School: Three-sport athlete in football, swimming and baseball. Quarterback and outside linebacker for football team. Football team won pair of Northeast 8 Conference championships. Winningest quarterback in school history. Played football for Jared Sauder. Swam individual medley and backstroke. Swam for his mother, Angie Barbour, at Leo. Two-time swimming age group MVP. Catcher, center fielder and first baseman for baseball team. Played baseball for Rod Massing. Academic all-state selection. Personal: Parents are Mike Maegen and Angie Barbour. Psychology major.
