Bri Hauge

Bri Hauge joined the Lawrence University staff in 2018 and has an extensive coaching history with head coach Riley Woldt.

A native of New Glarus, Wisconsin, Hauge and Woldt were assistant coaches together for six seasons at St. Norbert College before both made the move to Lawrence. During Hauge's time as an assistant coach at St. Norbert, the Green Knights won five Midwest Conference championships. Hauge has played a critical role in the resurgence of Lawrence's program. Over the past two seasons, Lawrence has compiled a 33-19 record, including a 21-11 mark in Midwest Conference play, and qualified for the MWC Tournament in both seasons.

Hauge was a player for St. Norbert before her career was derailed by injury. The Green Knights won three Midwest Conference titles during Hauge's playing career as they swept the titles in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Hauge served as a student assistant coach in 2010-11 and St. Norbert claimed another Midwest Conference title that season.

After graduating from St. Norbert in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Hauge remained on the coaching staff and helped the Green Knights to league championships in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016. The Green Knights went 18-0 in the Midwest Conference in 2015-16, and Hauge was part of the group that was named Assistant Staff of the Year by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association.

A standout athlete at New Glarus High School, Hauge won four letters in basketball. She earned All-Six Rivers East Conference second-team and first-team honors as a sophomore and junior, respectively. New Glarus moved to the Capitol South Conference for Hauge's senior season and she was a a first-team all-conference pick and the conference Player of the Year. Hauge also led her team to the conference championship. A 1,000-point scorer, Hauge was chosen as a Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star and earned honorable mention on the Associated Press All-State Team.

Hauge also played soccer for Sugar River and won four letters. An All-Capitol Area Conference selection all four years, Hauge earned first-team honors for the final three seasons of her career. Her team won the 2004 and 2005 Capitol Area Conference titles and earned a berth in the 2004 WIAA State Tournament.
