Spenser Hogg joined the Lawrence coaching staff in 2024 and serves as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Vikings.
A native of Winchester, Indiana, Hogg helped the Vikings to an 18-8 record and a second consecutive berth in the Midwest Conference Tournament during his first season with the team.
Hogg came to Lawrence from Utah State University, where he spent the 2023-24 season as an assistant coach and director of video and analytics for the women's basketball team.Â
A 2022 graduate of Texas Christian University, Hogg earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and movement science with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. While a student at TCU, Hogg served as a women's basketball team manager and member of the Frog Squad, which aided the team with on-court preparation. After his graduation from TCU, Hogg spent the 2022-23 season as a graduate assistant for the Horned Frogs women's basketball team.Â
Hogg is a 2018 graduate of Park Tudor High School where he was a basketball standout for the Panthers.
