MAUSTON, Wis. -- Illinois College pitcher Dylan Jones went the distance to lead the Blueboys to a 6-1 Midwest Conference victory over Lawrence University at the Woodside Complex.

Jones allowed only five hits over nine innings while striking out four and walking none.

Matt Holliday went 2-for-4 and drove in the lone run for Lawrence (4-23-1, 1-10-1 MWC). 

Holliday went eight innings on the mound and took the loss. He allowed eight hits and five earned runs.

The Blueboys did nearly all of their damage in a four-run second inning. Illinois College tacked on two more runs in the fifth.

Alex Lilly went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs for Illinois College (9-20, 4-11).
