AUBURNDALE, Fla. -- The Lawrence University baseball team posted a 13-run fourth inning Friday on its way to an 18-3 nonconference win over Minnesota-Morris at Lake Myrtle Park.

The Vikings sent 18 hitters to the plate, pounded out eight hits and collected six walks in the fourth inning.

Reno Zemrak paced Lawrence's 15-hit attack by going 4-for-4 with two doubles, and he scored four times and drove in a pair of runs.

Lawrence's Nolan Spencer was 3-for-3 with a triple, and he drove in three runs and scored a pair. Rudy Mueller-Schrader went 3-for-5, and Nick Pastrone and Patrick McDonnell had two hits apiece for the Vikings (3-6). Andrew Lauber drove in five runs and scored twice.

The game was tied 3-3 when McDonnell walked to lead off the bottom of the fourth. After Zemrak's double, Spencer singled to score McDonnell and put the Vikings ahead to stay. The Vikings then picked up a run-scoring single from Lauber and three consecutive bases-loaded walks to go up 9-3.

McDonnell smacked a two-run single, and Zemrak picked up an RBI single to put Lawrence up 12-3. An error allowed two more runs to score before Pastrone delivered a run-scoring single and another error plated another run to put the Vikings up 16-3 after four.

The Vikings tacked on two more runs in the fifth on Spencer's RBI single and Lauber's sacrifice fly.

Brad Olson worked the first four innings to get the win in the seven-inning contest. He struck out four and walked two. Tony Caputa worked the final three innings for the save.

Nick Peterson went three-plus innings, allowed nine runs and took the loss for the Cougars (2-4).
