ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The Augustana College women's soccer team defeated Lawrence University 9-0 in a nonconference game Friday.

In the season opener for both teams, Augustana led just 2-0 at the half, but stretched the margin in the final 45 minutes.

Sarah Yochem and Sydney Dumke combined to make nine saves for Lawrence. 

Grace Sigler had a hat trick to pace Augustana.
