GRINNELL, Iowa -- A late goal was the difference Saturday as the Lawrence University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 Midwest Conference decision at Grinnell College.
    The Pioneers scored the game's lone goal on Jasper Yang's tally with 5:53 remaining in regulation.
    Lawrence goalkeeper Hunter Lanton made three saves for the Vikings, and Carter Benson made four saves for the Pioneers. Grinnell (7-6-0, 4-2-0 MWC) had a 13-7 edge in shots for the match.
    The loss snaps Lawrence's three-match win streak and was the first loss in league play for the Vikings.
