MOUNT VERNON, Iowa --
Samantha Tolu's goal was the difference Saturday as the Lawrence University women's soccer team beat Cornell College 1-0 in a Midwest Conference match.
  Tolu got the game's only goal at the 58:41 mark as Lawrence (10-5-1, 4-2-0 MWC) won its third consecutive match by the same 1-0 score.

Sarah Yochem made three saves to earn her third consecutive shutout. Yochem has run her scoreless streak to 281:47 with the shutout of Cornell (6-9-1, 1-3-1). Elise Thomason-Larsen made four saves for Cornell.
  The win pushes Lawrence into third place in the Midwest Conference standings with 12 points. Lawrence has a pair of home matches remaining to close out the conference season.
