DE PERE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University softball team opened its season Friday with a pair of nonconference losses at St. Norbert College.
  Lawrence lost the opener 7-1 and the Green Knights rallied for a 10-5 victory in the second game at Miron Construction Field.
  In the nightcap, Lawrence led 3-1 and 4-3, but the Green Knights rallied late to grab the victory.

Mary Boyle went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and a run driven in as she belted her first collegiate homer in the seventh for the Vikings. Lawrence's
Mikayla Jeneske went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair, and
Ceara Larson and
Emilia Jackson both went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
  Lawrence grabbed a 3-1 lead in the third as Larson singled to drive in a run and Jeneske smacked a two-run triple. The Green Knights rallied in the bottom half of the inning to tie it.Â
  The Vikings took the lead back in the fifth when Jackson singled to score Boyle for a 4-3 advantage. St. Norbert took the lead back with two runs in the bottom of the fifth and then added five runs in the sixth to seal the victory.
  Boyle then homered to lead off the seventh to complete the scoring.
  Morgyn Zielke tossed the final five innings to get the win. Jackson went the first 5.1 innings for the Vikings and took the loss.
  In the opener, Ellie Olsen allowed just two hits over seven innings to get the win for St. Norbert. She struck out seven and walked one.
  Lawrence's lone run came on Jeneske's RBI single in the sixth.
  St. Norbert scored twice in the second and three times in the third to take control. The Green Knights had eight hits against two Lawrence pitchers.
