MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team shut out Eureka College on Friday night in a nonconference match at the Blue Angel Bash.
  The Vikings downed Eureka 25-19, 26-24, 25-16 in the match at Mount Mary University.
  Lawrence hit .217 as a team and collected nine aces.Â

Sophia Galassini led the Vikings with 11 kills, and she picked up 10 digs and three aces.
Elizabeth Liebau and
Jordan Adamson added nine kills apiece for the Vikings.

Averie Miller piled up 28 assists, and
Marife Entenza led the Vikings with 12 digs.Â
  Lawrence trailed 10-5 in the opening set, but the Vikings went on 10-3 run to grab a 15-13 edge. The first set was tied at 18-18, but the Vikings closed on a 7-1 run.
  The Red Devils jumped out to a 10-4 lead in the second set and still led 23-16 before the Vikings roared back. The Vikings scored five straight to cut the lead to 23-21 before Eureka scored to get to set point. Lawrence then rattled off five consecutive points to win the second set 26-24.
  The Vikings grabbed a 6-1 lead in the third set and pulled away. Lawrence led by as many as 12 points in the final set.
