WATERTOWN, Wis. --
Jackie Blake had a goal and an assist, and the Lawrence University women's soccer team shut out Maranatha Baptist University 3-0 Saturday in a nonconference match.
 Â
Samantha Tolu got the Vikings started quickly as she scored just 26 seconds into the match for a 1-0 lead. Lawrence pushed the lead to 2-0 late in the opening half when
Kaitlyn Khazen scored off a pass from Blake.
Blake then added the final goal off a pass from
Hanna Knudsen with less than a minute remaining to complete the scoring.
  Lawrence goalkeeper
Sarah Yochem made just one save to earn the shutout. Maranatha keeper Laura Brown stopped 17 shots for the Sabercats.Â
This is the third consecutive shutout for the Vikings, who have now allowed a goal in the last 369:23. Lawrence hasn't given up a goal since Wisconsin Lutheran College scored in the second minute back on Sept. 5. Lawrence went on to win that game 2-1 in overtime.
Lawrence fired 31 shots at the Sabercats, who were limited to just two shots for the match.
The Vikings are back in action on Sunday when Lawrence hosts St. Norbert College on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.Â
