APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 nonconference decision to Carroll University on Wednesday on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
  Carroll got an early goal and then added another tally 20 minutes into the second half to complete the scoring. The Pioneers remained unbeaten and pushed their record to 5-0-1. Lawrence moved to 5-3-0 on the season.
  Elizabeth Weinberg scored at the 8:34 mark to give Carroll a 1-0 lead, and it stayed that way until Grace Tumilty scored at 65:59.

Sarah Yochem made a season-high 12 saves for the Vikings. Rachel Jenewein made one save to record the shutout for Carroll.Â
  Lawrence returns to action on Friday when the Vikings travel to Crown College.
