ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to St. Mary's (Ind.) College on Friday night at the Rockford University Triangular.
  St. Mary's defeated the Vikings 25-18, 25-19, 25-22.

Sophia Galassini paced the Vikings with nine kills and picked up seven digs, and
Elizabeth Liebau added seven kills.
Averie Miller led Lawrence with 16 assists, and she added nine digs.
    Multiple Vikings made their collegiate debuts in the match. Alaina Butler-Gray picked up four kills and three blocks, and
Daphne Piotrowski went 2-for-2 on attacks, matched
Dana Mestey with a team-high 10 digs and picked up an ace.
Maryah Burrell added a kill and a block for the Vikings.
  The Vikings hit just .127 as a team, compared to .248 for St. Mary's.
