SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team was edged 3-1 by Whitman College on Sunday.Â
  The Vikings (0-3-0) were down by a goal when Whitman scored with just over five minutes remaining to seal the victory.

Konstantinos Fardellas cut that deficit in half with his first collegiate goal. Fardellas scored off an assist by
Atzin Osorio at the 76:11 mark.
  Oscar Harding then scored for Whitman at 84:37 to stretch the lead back to two.
  Whitman piled up a 32-2 edge in shots, and Lawrence goalkeeper
Hunter Lanton made 10 saves. None of the three Whitman goalkeepers recorded a save.
