ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Lawrence University men's hockey team fell behind early Monday and dropped a 7-1 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game to No. 1 Adrian College at Arrington Ice Arena.
  Adrian scored three times in the first 10:12 to take control of the contest. The Bulldogs added a goal late in the first and led 4-0 after one period.
  After a scoreless second period, Adrian (15-1-0, 9-0-0 NCHA) scored the first three goals of the third period.
  Lawrence (5-8-2, 3-5-1) got on the board when
Zach Lodes scored off assists from
Vincent Dekumbis on the power play at the 15:11 mark of the third. Lawrence finished 1-for-3 on the power play, and Adrian was 2-for-4.

Alex Mosquera made the start for Lawrence in goal and allowed four goals while making 12 saves in the opening period.
Brian Tallieu stopped 27 shots over the final two periods. Cameron Gray made 28 saves for Adrian.
  The teams wrap up the series on Tuesday afternoon.
