ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Lawrence University men's hockey team gave up five goals in the second period Tuesday, and No. 1 Adrian College rode that outburst to an 8-1 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association victory at Arrington Ice Arena.
  The Vikings trailed 2-0 after the opening period, but the Bulldogs scored five times over a stretch of 13 minutes in the second period to pull away.

Brian Tallieu made the start in goal for the Vikings (5-9-2, 3-4-1 NCHA) and allowed five goals while stopping 17 shots in the first 27:44. Rookie
Kyle McNair played the final 32:10 and made 17 saves while allowing three goals.Â
  Nic Tallarico made 20 saves to get the win for Adrian (16-1-0, 10-0-0).
  Lawrence returns home to face Finlandia University in an NCHA series Saturday and Sunday.
