Lawrence trailed by three when Lueck, a rookie guard, hit a jumper to trim the lead to 57-56. Boyance answered for Beloit, but Earl knocked down two free throws to cut the lead to 59-58. After a jumper by Beloit's Elizabeth Kalk put the Bucs up 61-58, Lueck banked in a 3-pointer with 34 seconds left to tie the game at 61-61.
Beloit's Johanna McNair hit a layup with 2.0 seconds left to give the Bucs a 63-61 edge. The Vikings called timeout and advanced the ball to the frontcourt.
Delaney Brooks lobbed a pass toward Meyer at the basket, who was fouled with 0.1 seconds remaining.
Meyer drained both free throws to tie the game at 63-63 and force overtime.
Beloit missed its first four shots from the floor in the overtime, and Lawrence was holding a slim 65-64 lead when Brooks buried a critical 3-pointer from the left wing for a 68-64 advantage.
After another Beloit miss, Culver's driving layup gave the Vikings a 70-64 lead with 2:13 remaining. Beloit's Hannah Welte was fouled on a 3-point attempt and converted all three shots to cut the lead to 70-67.
The teams traded free throws as Earl hit three and Batac added one to give the Vikings a 74-69 lead with 48 ticks remaining.
Boyance's layup cut the lead to 74-71 with 29 seconds left, but Batac hit two free throws and Culver hit four foul shots in a row to secure the victory. Lawrence went 12-for-16 from the foul line in the overtime.
The game featured 58 fouls, including 35 by Beloit, which had four players foul out. Lawrence went 34-of-44 (77.3 percent) from the foul line in the contest. The Bucs were 14-of-23 from the stripe.
The 34 free throws made is a Lawrence record, eclipsing the mark of 32 set against Illinois College on Jan. 24, 1998. The 44 attempts is second only to the 46 foul shots the Vikings took against Carroll University on Feb. 2, 1994.
Lawrence returns to action on Saturday when the Vikings host Lake Forest College at Alexander Gymnasium.
