RIPON, Wis. -- A big second half Wednesday propelled the Lawrence University women's soccer team to a 4-0 Midwest Conference victory over Ripon College at Prairie Field.

Samantha Tolu scored twice for the Vikings, who tallied all four goals in a 26-minute span and ran their win streak to three games.
  After a scoreless first half, Lawrence (7-5-0, 3-1-0 MWC) struck just seven minutes into the second half. Tolu took a pass from
Cambrie Rickard and beat Ripon goalkeeper Andreanna Wilke at the 52:20 mark for a 1-0 lead.
  Lawrence quickly followed that with another goal less than four minutes later.
Natalie Linebarger scored her third goal of the season directly off a corner kick at 56:13 to put the Vikings up 2-0.
  Tolu really stretched the lead with her second goal of the afternoon at the 62:33 mark. Tolu again got a pass from Rickard and scored to give Lawrence a 3-0 lead and complete control of the contest.
  The Vikings sealed the win with
Kaitlyn Khazen's first goal of the season.
Sydney Allen took a free kick near midfield and got the ball to
Jaicey Stanich. Stanich dribbled to the box and sent a cross to Khazen, who one-timed it past Wilke for a 4-0 edge at 78:01.
  Lawrence goalkeepers
Sarah Yochem and
Ella Lysne combined on the shutout. Yochem made four saves in the first 72 minutes, and Lysne had one save in the final 17-plus minutes. Wilke finished 19 saves as Lawrence peppered the Ripon net with 29 shots. The Red Hawks (3-9-2, 1-4-0) were held to six shots.
  Lawrence returns to Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl on Saturday to face Grinnell College.
