BELOIT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University football team fell 56-0 to Beloit College on Saturday in a Midwest Conference game at Strong Stadium.
The Bucs jumped out to a 14-0 less than six minutes into the game and led 21-0 at the half. Beloit then struck for two touchdowns in the third quarter and tacked on three more scores in the fourth.

Jack Sweeney went 11-for-22 passing for 68 yards. Beloit (1-6, 1-5 MWC) bottled up Lawrence's rushing game as the Vikings managed just 15 yards on 23 carries. The Bucs had 3.5 quarterback sacks, and that put a dent in Lawrence's rushing total.

Logan Olson and
Jake Spencer had two catches apiece for Lawrence.Â
  Linebacker
KJ Sweeney led the defense with 15 tackles, including 10 solo stops. Sweeney also had 2.0 tackles for loss.
