BELOIT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Beloit College in a Midwest Conference game on Wednesday at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.
  The Bucs scored in the 12th minute and added another tally in the 31st minute to complete the scoring.
  Lawrence fired 10 shots, including seven on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net for the second consecutive conference game.

Emma Vasconez had three shots apiece for the Vikings (8-9-0, 3-4-0 MWC).
  Gracie Gassman got the scoring started for Beloit (7-4-2, 5-2-0) with her goal at 11:07. She made the score 2-0 with a perfectly placed ball off a free kick just past the outstretched arm of Lawrence goalkeeper
Sarah Yochem. Yochem finished with five saves for the Vikings, and two Beloit goalkeepers combined for seven saves.
  The loss dealt a serious blow to Lawrence's chances of making the Midwest Conference Tournament. Lawrence finishes the regular season at Monmouth College on Saturday.
