BELOIT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team picked up a 1-1 Midwest Conference tie with Beloit College on Thursday at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.
  Lawrence picked up a goal in the opening half, and Beloit got the equalizer after the break.
  The Vikings (2-9-5, 1-3-3 MWC) got on the board first after a scramble in the penalty box. Lawrence sent a cross across the goal mouth, and
Konstantinos Fardellas was taken down in the box. The Vikings were awarded a penalty kick, and
Derek Morales fired the ball into the upper right corner of the net at 28:32 for a 1-0 lead.
  Beloit (3-7-4, 2-1-4) tied the game on Prabaldeep Khare's goal at 60:43.Â
  Both teams had chances over the game's final 29 minutes but neither could get the go-ahead goal.

Nason Lancina made 10 saves for the Vikings, and Brock Bidwell stopped six shots for Beloit.
  Lawrence wraps up its season on Saturday when the Vikings travel to Monmouth College.
