    DE PERE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's basketball team saw UW-La Crosse pull away over the middle two quarters Saturday en route to an 85-55 nonconference win over the Vikings at the Mulva Center.
    The game was part of the Nicolet National Bank Tip-Off Tournament.    
    La Crosse got off to a hot start and led by four after the opening quarter, but the Eagles stretched that lead to 49-35 at the half. La Crosse then outscored the Vikings 19-6 in the third quarter to pull away.
    Maggie Culver led Lawrence (1-2) with 16 points, and she went 8-for-8 from the foul line. Culver was chosen for the all-tournament team. 
    Lydia Lueck added nine points for the Vikings, and Caroline Sharpe came off the bench to score seven points.
