APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's hockey team traded goals with No. 4 St. Norbert College for two periods Saturday at the Appleton Ice Center, but the Green Knights pulled away in the third for a 7-3 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association victory.
  Lawrence trailed by two goals before tying the game, trailed again and tied it again in the second period. St. Norbert scored late in the second to take the lead and expanded the lead in the final period.
  Lawrence (0-4-0, 0-2-0 NCHA) was down 2-0 when
Tyler Jensen scored off a pass from
Akhmed Malsagov just 2:48 into the second to slice the lead in half.
Zach Lodes then scored for the Vikings at the 11:04 mark off passes from
Jayden Jensen and
Kyle Gierman to tie the game at 2-2.
  St. Norbert (3-0-1, 2-0-0) grabbed the lead back just over two minutes later, but the Vikings responded.

Cory Checco scored off a pass from
Jayden Jensen at the 14:00 mark to tie the game at 3-3.
  Mitchell Zambon then scored at the 16:16 mark to give the Green Knights a 4-3 lead and added another goal 5:34 into the third. St. Norbert tacked on a late goal and an empty-netter for the final margin.

Brian Tallieu made 30 saves for the Vikings, and Colby Entz stopped 30 shots for St. Norbert.
