DAVENPORT, Fla. -- The Lawrence University baseball team rallied for a decisive two runs in the seventh Tuesday and got a superlative relief performance in a 9-7 nonconference victory over Hamilton College.

The Vikings then tied the game in the fourth with a pair of runs. Leslie started the inning with a double, and Perez followed with a two-run shot to tie the game at 4-4.
Hamilton came back to take the lead with two runs of its own in the bottom of the fourth, but the Vikings rallied again in the top of the fifth.

Lawrence rallied again in the seventh when Perez drew a one-out walk to get things started. After
Nick Heerde singled and a wild pitch moved up both runners, Knoll singled up the middle to score both runners for a 9-7 advantage.
Johannes worked around a single in the seventh, set down Hamilton in order in the eighth and worked around a one-out walk in the ninth to close out the victory. Johannes induced a 6-4-3 double play to end the game.
