OSHKOSH, Wis. -- The Lawrence University softball team fell 9-0 in five innings to Concordia University Wisconsin in a nonconference game Saturday at the Oshkosh Rec Plex.
  Concordia scored six times in the bottom of the first to take control and got a standout pitching performance from Nicki Becker.
  Becker went the distance, didn't allow a hit, struck out 13 and walked one to get the win.
Shelby Johnson made the start for the Vikings and allowed six runs in one inning of work.
Jordan Wallin-Swanson pitched the final three innings and gave up three runs on six hits for the Vikings.
  Lawrence returns to the road on Sunday for a doubleheader at the University of Chicago.
