APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University softball team delivered a walk-off win Friday to earn a Midwest Conference doubleheader split with Ripon College at Whiting Field.
  Lawrence won the nightcap 6-5 after Ripon rallied to win the first game 10-7.
  The Vikings won the second game with a run in the bottom of the seventh after Ripon had tied the game in the top half of the inning.

Mattigan Haller went 3-for-4 and scored three runs, including the game-winner, in the second game.
Jordan Wallin-Swanson also went 3-for-4 for the Vikings, and
Xiomara Rueda-Marshall drove in a pair of runs.

Lizzy Angemi went the distance to get the victory for Lawrence (4-32, 2-12 MWC). Angemi allowed five runs on 10 hits and walked one.Â
  Lawrence built an early 5-1 lead and started with two runs in the first. The Vikings loaded the bases and Rueda-Marshall drew a walk to score
Mary Boyle to tie the game at 1-1.
Chapin Grumhaus followed with a single to score Haller for a 2-1 advantage.

Mikayla Jeneske blasted a solo homer in the second to put Lawrence up 3-1. Haller and Wallin-Swanson had one-out singles to start another rally in the third. The Vikings then executed a double steal to score Haller for a 4-1 lead. Angemi's groundout later scored pinch-runner
Laney Martens for a 5-1 edge.
  Ripon then got a run in the fourth and two more in the fifth before tying the game at 5-5 with a run in the top of the seventh.
  Haller got the winning rally started with a one-out double off the left field fence against reliever Claire Luebke. After a flyout, Rueda-Marshall delivered a line drive, two-out single over the shortstop. Haller raced around to score to give Lawrence the victory.
  In the opener, Jeneske went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run scored and a run batted in. Wallin-Swanson went 2-for-3, drove in two runs and scored a run. Haller was 2-for-3, scored two runs and drove in a run.Â
  Lawrence struck first in the opening inning when Haller doubled to score Jeneske and Wallin-Swanson followed with a run-scoring single for a 2-0 lead.
  Ripon took a 3-2 lead with a two-run homer in the sixth, but the Vikings rallied in the bottom half of the inning.
Khayla Santiago walked and Haller picked up a two-out single. Wallin-Swanson followed with a single to score Santiago and tie the game at 3-3. Rueda-Marshall then doubled to left field, scoring Haller and Wallin-Swanson. A throwing error on the same play allowed Rueda-Marshall to score, and the Vikings led 6-3.
  Ripon then hit a solo homer, a three-run homer and a two-run homer in the top of the seventh to pull out to a 10-6 lead. Lawrence got a run back in the bottom half of the inning when
Shelby Johnson doubled and Jeneske followed with a run-scoring triple. Savanna Trittelwitz then got the final two outs to secure the win.
  Lawrence wraps up its season when it travels to Lake Forest College on Sunday for a league doubleheader.
