APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team ran into a strong Carthage College squad on Wednesday night, and the Firebirds posted a 3-0 nonconference win on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
  The Firebirds scored all three goals in a span of 28 minutes in the first half.Â
  Carthage (2-2-1) got on the board at the 9:12 mark on Mickey Reilly's goal off an assist from Aidan Crowder. Crowder then scored at the 17:31 mark, and Eli Schoffstall finished the scoring with a score at 27:13. Trevor Molitor assisted on each of the last two goals.

Ethan Uribe made seven saves for the Vikings (1-4-1). Christian Lekki wasn't forced to make a save for Carthage.
