Lawrence stopped by Pioneers

    WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 nonconference decision to Carroll University on Tuesday at Van Male Fieldhouse.
    Carroll topped the Vikings 25-11, 25-18, 25-19.
    Aliana Butler-Gray led the Vikings with six kills, and she picked up three blocks and 10 digs. Rookie Callista Lo added five kills with a .364 hitting percentage and picked up four digs. Lawrence's Mikala Seymour added three kills, two aces and a pair of blocks.
    Marife Entenza led Lawrence with 19 assists, and Daphne Piotrowski had a team-high 11 digs.
    Lawrence returns to action on Saturday when the Vikings open Midwest Conference play at Knox College.
