APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's basketball team ran into a hot-shooting Knox College squad Tuesday night and dropped an 89-65 Midwest Conference game to the Prairie Fire at Alexander Gymnasium.
  Knox went 12-for-26 from 3-point range and dominated Lawrence on the glass, posting a 52-27 edge on the boards.

Johnny Semany paced the Vikings (8-13, 5-7 MWC) with 13 points, and
Elliot Jung added 10 points.
Matthew Kaznikov chipped in with eight points and three rebounds, and
Parker Prahl led Lawrence with four rebounds and three assists.
Will Thomas came off the Lawrence bench to add six points and four rebounds in just 12 minutes.
  Jordan Rayner and Cade Windham scored 22 points apiece for Knox (6-14, 4-7), and Windham went 5-for-5 from beyond the arc.
  Lawrence trailed 15-14 after Jung's layup with 14:02 left in the opening half. Knox scored the next 27 points and raced out to a 42-14 lead. The Prairie Fire led 48-22 at the half.
  The Vikings went on an 8-0 run early in the second half with a pair of baskets from Jung, another hoop from Prahl and a pair of free throws from Semany. That trimmed the margin to 50-32 with 16:38 left.Â
  Knox then got a four-point play when Windham hit a 3-pointer and was fouled. Lawrence battled back and cut the lead to 63-46 on Semany's three-point play with 10:46 left. Knox countered with a 12-0 run to seal the win.
