CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Lawrence University football team fell 55-12 to the University of Chicago in a Midwest Conference game on Saturday at Stagg Field.
  The Maroons led 21-0 after the opening quarter and pulled out to a 35-0 lead at the half to seize control. Lawrence picked up both of its touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
  Lawrence quarterback
Aidan Williams went 20-for-37 passing for 198 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Alex Lippert caught a team-high six passes for 56 yards and a touchdown.
Jackson Barbour grabbed five passes for 58 yards, and
Logan Olson had five catches for 48 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings.
  The Maroons kept the Lawrence ground game in check as
Pat Thompson was limited to 36 yards on 13 carries. Lawrence had a minus-7 yards rushing as Chicago recorded eight sacks for a loss of 54 rushing yards.
  Safety
Kolbe Gelvin paced the Lawrence defense with nine tackles.
Zekhi Mills picked up eight tackles, including a sack, and
Donzel Andress had seven stops. Cornerback
Aidan Harrison recorded his first career interception to go with four tackles.
  Lawrence hits the road again next Saturday when the Vikings travel to Knox College.
