Lawrence can't rally from early deficit at Stevens Point

    STEVENS POINT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's basketball team fell into a big early deficit and dropped a 78-63 nonconference decision to UW-Stevens Point at Quandt Field House.
    The Pointers jumped out to a 20-point edge less than 12 minutes into the game, and Lawrence never got closer than 14 points the rest of the way.
    Jake Fisher poured in 19 points to pace four Lawrence players in double figures. Fisher went 6-for-10 from the floor and added three rebounds. 
    Adnan Sarancic added 13 points and a team-best nine rebounds to go with a team-high six assists for the Vikings. Matthew Kaznikov also added 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds to go with two assists. Hogan Demovsky picked up 10 points and chipped in with four rebounds and two assists.
    Malik Abdul-Wahid paced Stevens Point and all scorers with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
