WAUWATOSA, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's basketball team rallied from a double-digit deficit Saturday, but Wisconsin Lutheran College held on for a 79-67 nonconference victory at the Time of Grace Center.
  Lawrence was down by as many as 15 points in both halves, but the Vikings trimmed the lead to six points with five minutes to go before Wisconsin Lutheran recovered.

Adnan Sarancic led Lawrence (0-4) with a double-double of 17 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
Matthew Kaznikov had a team-high 18 points for the Vikings and added seven rebounds. Rookie guard
Hogan Demovsky added 11 points, five rebounds and a pair of assists.Â
  Wisconsin Lutheran (2-1) built a 15-point lead in the first half and owned a 44-31 lead at the half. Lawrence quickly trimmed the lead to eight early in the half, but the Warriors pushed the advantage back to 15 at 56-41.Â

Carson Nichols answered with a jumper for the Vikings, and Lawrence got a layup from
RJ Gamble, a 3-pointer from Kaznikov and a layup from Sarancic to complete a 10-2 run.Â
  After Lawrence cut the lead to 58-51, the Warriors pushed the lead back to 11 at 63-52. Demovsky countered with a layup, and Sarancic added a layup before Kaznikov drained one free throw to cut he lead to 63-57 with 5:57 left.
  The teams then traded baskets, but the Vikings couldn't pull any closer. Grayson Goetz hit three big shots in the paint to help hold off the Vikings in the final four minutes.
  Goetz led all scorers with 22 points.
