WESTFIELD, Ind. -- The Lawrence University baseball team dropped a 10-8, 10-inning nonconference game to Concordia University Chicago on Saturday at Grand Park.
Lawrence (0-2) led 8-5 heading to the top of the ninth, but the Cougars rallied for three runs to force extra inning. Concordia Chicago scored twice in the top of the 10th and struck out the side in the bottom half of the inning to secure the win.
Parker Knoll went 3-for-6 with a double and a triple, drove in two runs and scored once to pace the Lawrence attack. Zach Leslie went 3-for-5 with a double and scored a run for the Vikings.

Lawrence scored twice in the seventh to tie the game at 5-5 with the help of Knoll's run-scoring double and Freeman's sacrifice fly. The Vikings then grabbed an 8-5 lead in the bottom of the eighth. The big blow in the inning was Freeman's bases-clearing double.
