WESTFIELD, Ind. -- The Lawrence University baseball team dropped an 8-4 nonconference decision to the University of Mount Union on Saturday at Grand Park.Â
  Lawrence led 3-2 before Mount Union scored four times in the bottom of the fourth to take the lead for good.Â

Taylor Freeman led the Vikings by going 2-for-4 with a run scored and a run driven in. Lawrence was limited to just six hits in the contest.

Michael Duttlinger went 3.1 innings and took the loss for the Vikings. He allowed five hits and five runs while striking out one and walking two.
  Jaried Lehman allowed four runs over five innings to get the win, but it the one-hit relief of Christopher Phillips over four innings that sealed the victory for the Purple Raiders.
