MEQUON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's hockey team gave up four third-period goals Friday in a 5-1 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association loss to Concordia University Wisconsin at the Ozaukee Ice Center.
  The game was tied 1-1 heading to the third period, but Concordia (4-18-0, 4-11-0 NCHA) scored three times in teh first 6:17 of the final period to pull away.
  Lawrence (3-17-2, 2-13-1) jumped on top with just 2:46 left in the first period.
Zach Lodes got a quick breakaway and beat Concordia goaltender Gabe Rosek for a goal and a 1-0 lead.
Ivan Galaguzov and
Zack Olen both picked up assists for the Vikings.
  The Falcons tied the game at 1-1 with a goal at the 8:27 mark of the second, and the score stayed that way headed to the third.
  Concordia opened the third with a goal just 33 seconds into the period and then added another at the 1:17 mark for a 3-1 lead. The Falcons made it 4-1 at the 6:17 mark and picked up an empty-net goal with 1:51 left to close out the scoring.

Owen Carlson made 29 saves for the Vikings, and Rosek stopped 30 shots for the Falcons.
  The teams wrap up the series Saturday night in Appleton.
