Lawrence jumped on Knox early as the Vikings built a double-digit lead eight minutes into the game.

The Prairie Fire grabbed a 41-38 advantage early in the second half, but that lead didn't last. A few minutes later, Lawrence went on a 7-0 run to turn a 46-45 deficit into a 52-46 lead. Sarancic scored four points in that stretch, including a jumper to cap the scoring run.
Knox finally broke a nearly four minute scoring drought to trim the lead back to 52-47, but Demovsky came up with a big answer for the Vikings. He drained a 3-pointer to give Lawrence a 55-47 edge with 8:26 left.
Lawrence was up 64-58 with under three minutes remaining when Sarancic scored the game's next five points to seal the victory. Fisher went 4-for-4 from the foul line in the final 22 seconds to pound the final nails in Knox's coffin.
Lawrence limited the Prairie Fire to 37.5 percent shooting for the game, and Knox hit just 57.1 percent (8-14) from the foul line. Lawrence went 23-for-28 (82.1 percent) from the line.
Andrew Milot led Knox (12-8, 5-6) with 24 points. Lawrence has now won 36 of its last 43 games against the Prairie Fire.Â
