APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 nonconference decision to UW-River Falls on Tuesday on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
  The Falcons scored the game's first three goals, and Lawrence picked up a late goal on a penalty kick.Â
  Both teams had quality chances in the opening half and early in the second half, but it was River Falls (3-6-0) cashed in on Ben Harris' goal at 59:43 for a 1-0 lead. Harris scored again at 70:13 for a 2-0 edge, and Sorel Richardson added an insurance goal in the 85th minute.
  Lawrence (1-6-3) finally broke through in the 86th minute.
Daito Sho drew a foul in the box and was awarded a penalty kick. Sho calmed put the ball into the left side of the net at 85:07 to trim the margin to 3-1.
  Alvaro Boned played the first 84:15 in goal for the Falcons and recorded seven saves.
Nason Lancina stopped seven shots for the Vikings.Â
  River Falls posted a 21-10 edge in shots for the match.
