Vikings fall to Illinois College

    APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team dropped a 4-1 Midwest Conference decision on Saturday to Illinois College in a Midwest Conference game.
    Illinois College, unbeaten in the league at 5-0-0, scored twice in each half on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl. Tyler Schiltz had a goal and an assist for the Blueboys (11-3-1 overall).
    Lawrence got on the board with less than 15 minutes left when Salvador Villalobos scored off a feed from Kale Hunt at the 75:51 mark.
    Nason Lancina stopped five shots for the Vikings (2-8-4, 1-2-2), and Daniel Happach made three saves for the Blueboys.
